Yoga 101 Workshop
Offered the first Sunday of each month – 4-6pm
Sunday, March 1st
Sunday, April 5th
In this class with Lisa, you’ll explore some of the basic postures, breathing and meditation techniques that make up the practice of Hatha Yoga. Students will leave with a basic understanding of proper alignment and technique, and be prepared for most beginner and all level hatha classes. Yoga is appropriate for just about anyone. You don’t need to be flexible or be able to quiet the mind. You simply need the desire to show up and do your best. This workshop is perfect for people new to the practice of yoga or those looking to deepen in their understanding of the basics.

Honoring Midlife Changes: 8 Habits for Aging Well
Sunday, March 1st
Harmony House Yoga
Aging brings about changes physically, emotionally, mentally and even spiritually that can feel overwhelming. We may notice ourselves thinking or saying things such as: “Aging isn’t for the faint of heart…” or “It’s all downhill from here…” Pain in the body, slowed metabolism, increased inflammation, lack of mental clarity, impaired sleep, or questioning our life’s purpose can begin to take over and leave us feeling poorly or discouraged if we don’t have a plan for positively addressing this change of season in life.
During the 90-minute workshop you can expect to:
- learn essential foods that best support the body and brain in aging gracefully
- identify top foods that sabotage vitality and contribute to disease
- explore beliefs about aging
- create a passion list
- learn simple habits to support the body every day
Workshop participants who sign up for either of the upcoming Eat Whole, Age Gracefully: 30 Days of Gentle Detoxification & Devoted Nourishment Programs will have the $20 workshop fee applied to their enrollment.
This class is ideal for any level of student. It’s an opportunity to slow down and restore the body, mind and spirit while being nurtured with loving therapeutic touch. Restorative yoga is a soothing way to end the evening prepare for sleaep feeling at peace and centered.

Ease. Grace. Joy. Love. Self-Acceptance.
Eat Whole, Age Gracefully is a program that’s near and dear to my heart. It’s one of my most often-requested group programs and I continually strive to improve and enhance it with updated and revised content while offering new ways for you to receive support. I’ve guided hundreds of lovely people through this program many times over the past 9 years. I’m excited to share more about this experience and answer any questions you may have about the program.
This program isn’t filled with strict or rigid guidelines. It’s flexible and encourages you to listen to your own beautiful body and the wisdom of its messages.
Your body is unique. You’ll be encouraged to embrace your own path!
Who is EWAG30 for?
It’s for anyone who desires to create optimal health and radiance while exploring beliefs about aging. It’s for anyone who knows they could benefit from gentle nurturing and loving self-care habits. It’s for those who are new to yoga or who have a daily practice. It’s for those who don’t cook much or for those who cook daily. You won’t have to halt your regular life in order to participate. This program weaves into normal daily life.
Will I be purchasing supplements or counting calories?
The Eat Whole, Age Gracefully program doesn’t require you to purchase expensive supplements and there are no gimmicks. We focus on simple self-care and getting back to the basics of real food. We won’t be counting calories or calculating percentages of fats, proteins, or carbs.
Do I have to give up meat, coffee or wine?
You absolutely don’t have to give up anything you don’t want to. You get to decide.
While we do focus on preparing and eating mostly plant-based foods during the program, you can incorporate animal proteins if you desire…in fact…you’re encouraged to do just that if your body is asking for it. If your body is saying yes to vegan or vegetarian…you’ll honor that.
What kinds of food will I be eating?
Be prepared to INDULGE in delicious, seasonal and simple, Mediterranean-style fresh, whole foods!
Nothing fancy…because I know you’re busy. I don’t have hours to spend in the kitchen and doubt you do either. There will be meal plans, recipes, shopping lists, and tons of support from me. I want this to be a fun and tasty experience for you!
What results can I expect?
The spring is symbolic of releasing, detoxifying and creating fresh, new energy…it’s the opportunity to release that which is no longer serving you and invite in the energy of your radiance, vitality and authentic beauty.
And, participating in a clean eating program each season is a health practice that sets you up to feel energized year-round.
Benefits you’ll receive include:
- Deeper levels of self-care, love and compassion.
- Shift your aging mindset.
- Enhanced body wisdom.
- Weight loss.
- Increased energy.
- Reduced inflammation (less aches and pains).
- Consistent movement and strengthening of your body.
- Balanced moods.
- Eliminating or reducing sugar and food cravings.
- Mental Clarity (say good-bye to brain fog…this benefit is my favorite!).
- Releasing stored toxins from the body.
- Transforming the way, you nourish yourself through food.
- Reduced stress.
- Peace of mind knowing that you’re taking AWESOME care of you!
One of the best parts of this program is you’ll be learning which foods you may be sensitive to. Food sensitivities or allergies can leave you feeling bloated or hanging onto excess weight, fatigued, foggy, groggy, and suffering from digestive issues. You’ll eliminate all of the major food allergens. Many people find that by doing this they quickly begin to lose weight and feel a sense of lightness and mental clarity.
I truly believe and have witnessed how powerful this process is both personally and in my participants. I would love for you to join me.
