Is it really the middle of November? I took a walk at dusk this evening and it was balmy. I want to curl up next to the fire, read books, and sip hot chocolate. Instead, I came home from my walk, opened the windows, and chopped some raw veggies.
Alas…the cool weather will arrive. I know it will.
In the meantime, I am looking forward to my soul being nourished by the holiday season.
Have you been busy? I have been busy.
Since August, I have been helping out at my husband’s physical therapy office in addition to working in my own practice. Maintaining a sense of a balanced and healthy lifestyle has at times been elusive. I am grateful that I have a pretty solid self-care foundation supporting me. With the extra added energy of the holidays approaching, I know that I will need inspiration and support to continue my healthy habits.
I want to enjoy my holiday season AND wake up on January 1st feeling healthy, radiant, and happy. I don’t want to look back and feel like I was too busy or so tired that I didn’t fully wrap my arms around the special moments of the holidays. And…I really don’t want to begin 2014 feeling exhausted or depleted.
