I’m betting that you are WAY to hard on yourself and are likely doing the best you can with what you know. The plethora of nutrition and health information available today is simply too much to sift through.

Listen, your biology is unique to you and it certainly didn’t read the latest nutrition book!

As I’m sure you suspect, some women function well with a paleo-style diet, some do well with a plant-based diet, and others require something more therapeutic like an auto-immune paleo or keto eating plan or an entirely unique mix.

The same is true for exercise. Some women thrive with yoga and walking and others feel best when running and lifting weights.

In your 50’s it’s essential to understand what your cravings, physical symptoms and sensations are telling you your body needs now.

You may be surprised to learn that there are reasons you’ve been dieting and exercising without the results you’d expect.As we age, foods that we reached for in the past that worked well, may no longer work for us.

This is the time in life to become more strategic, not work harder or do more.

Here’s the good news…

It is entirely possible to sleep well and wake up naturally and with a clear head, excited and enthusiastic about the day ahead.

I’m Lisa…. And, I’ve spent over 30 years working in women’s health, nutrition, and healthcare. I’m a Functional Health Coach & Women’s Wellness Educator.

In my 20’s and 30’s I experienced my own health challenges after having my children and spent a lot of time and money going from doctor to doctor to get to the root of why I felt so poorly. To say the least, I felt frustrated by the process.

Through trial and error and continual health education, I began to feel healthier and happier than I had in a long time. My 40’s and now 50’s have been about adapting what worked for me then to finding what works with my own shifting hormones, dreams, and goals at this stage of my life.

Now in my 50’s, I’ve successfully maintained my weight, am stronger and fitter than I was in my younger years. I have the energy, immunity, and brain health I need to live a fully engaged life with my husband, run two successful business and teach yoga. And, I can show you how to do this too!

My belief is that when you invest in feeling YOUR absolute best in this unique stage of life, you’ll have MORE LIFE to offer your family, community and yourself. And, life just gets much more joyful, and pleasurable too!
